Bitdeer announced the successful testing of its latest Bitcoin mining chip, SEAL02, following tape-out. SEAL02 uses one of the most advanced process nodes in partnership with TSMC, a world-leading semiconductor foundry. An exceptional power efficiency ratio of 13.5 J/TH - while running at low voltage, ultra power-saving mode - was indicated in SEAL02 chip’s verification and prototype tests, achieving the power efficiency milestone outlined in the SEALMINER technology roadmap announced in June 2024. SEAL02 will be integrated into the Company’s upcoming SEALMINER A2 mining machines, with mass production scheduled to commence in November 2024.

Bitdeer (NASDAQ: BTDR), a cryptocurrency mining company, has concluded its online auction for 2,880 used Antminer S19 from its Norway mining datacenter, offering a total hash rate of 269.86P. The auction attracted more than 10 users to participate, and following 22rounds of bidding, the auction concluded with the final bid settling at $302,000. Similar activities will be launched in the future.

Riot Platforms and Bitfarms have resolved their dispute following a settlement agreement detailed in a joint announcement on Sept. 23, 2024. The agreement, which was filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), comes ahead of Bitfarms’ special shareholder meeting on Nov. 6, 2024.

Cleanspark Inc. has unveiled plans to acquire seven bitcoin mining facilities in Knoxville, Tennessee. The $27.5 million deal is expected to boost the company’s current mining capacity by 5 exahash per second (EH/s) by 2024, representing a 22% increase in its operational hashrate. The new facilities will add over 85 megawatts (MW) of mining power, with each site ranging between 10 MW and 20 MW. The company aims to finalize the acquisition of all seven locations by Sept. 25, 2024.

At the Eastern Economic Forum, President Vladimir Putin recognized Russia as a leading Bitcoin mining country, citing the energy surplus in regions like Siberia as a key factor. He emphasized that while the country has become a significant player in Bitcoin mining, these activities should not impede regional development. Putin highlighted the advantages of Russia's abundant energy resources, which have made it a fertile ground for the Bitcoin mining industry.
