This mining farm is located in Holeta, Omiroa State, Ethiopia. It has been powered on in Jan 2024 with a total load of 70MW. Ethiopian 500MW mine supply electricity to the mining farm with a total capacity of 6000MW.

Mining Farm Introduction

Ethiopian 500MW mine. Landmark building: Holeta. 500KV substation with a total capacity of 6000MW. Electricity: Clean Energy Renaissance Dam, the largest hydropower station in Africa, with a total installed capacity of 6000MW. With an average altitude of nearly 3,000 meters, Ethiopia is known as the "Roof of Africa". Ethiopia has many rivers and lakes and rich water resources. Known as the "Water Tower of East Africa", the average temperature throughout the year is 10-20 degrees. Electricity consumption: The mine contracts directly with the Ethiopian National Grid. The first phase of 70MW has been put into operation safely.
